Day 170, Call Backs!

  Today I had call backs for Annie. I went in at 7 o'clock PM and I got done at 10PM... yeah... they were 3 hours long. Normally they aren't that long.. and I don't know why they were so long. But, on the other hand, it was really fun, and even funny! Here is a list of what I had to do at call backs...



Dance.

First everyone had to learn a dance. There was about 70 people  there, so it was a little crowded. It was only 2 counts of 8, so it wasn't that long, and it way really easy. I think I did a pretty good job on the dancing part..

Read a monologue.

2nd, after dancing, they told us that if they called our name, then we needed to go out in the hall... My name wasn't called, so I got to stay. The people who stayed got to read a Monologue, which is just reading a small part of the script. This is the funny part.. I read the part for the laundry man, and I got to read with an older Woman who was reading for Ms. Hannigan. Well.. Ms. Hannigan is trying to be sexy, and to seduce the laundry man... it was really weird, but everyone loved it, and couldn't stop laughing! So that went well also.

Sing.

3rd, they told us if they called your name, then to go in to a room down the hall. My name was called. When we got there, we learned a song really fast, and then we had to perform it for the director. I think I also did well on the singing.

All in all, I hope that I make the Musical, and if I do, I know that it will be really really fun!
