St. George

My family and I took a weekend trip down to St. George because my Grandpa's second wife past away, so we went for her funeral.

We stayed at our neighbors awesome vacation home. It was soooo.. much fun! Cameron and I shared a room with bunk beds. Cameron was super excited to sleep on the top bunk and have a sleep over with me! Every time he had to take a nap or went to bed, he would ask.. "You tired Uncle Robby?" or.. "You coming to bed?" HAHA.. what a cutie!

After the viewing, Sara and I went at saw 'Aladdin' the musical at Tuacahan. It was really really good. We both loved it so much, and had so much fun! I wish I had a better picture...

The next day, after the funeral, we went to 'Chuck-a-Rama' to eat. I took this great picture of Cameron and "Nother one Grandpa" as Cameron calls him. Grandpa Talbot absolutely LOVES Cameron, and Cameron loves him strait back!

We also swam at Grandpas pool after lunch. It was so much fun. We don't swim in Grandpa's pool to often, so it was great. Ali loved it. She usually cries when she is in the pool, or even the tub, but she loved it this time! She is such a swimmer girl!

On the last day, Scott and I went to this Wake board water park. It was really cool. It was like actually wake boarding, but you didn't need a boat. It was in this man made pond, and a pulley thing would pull you really fast in a circle around the pond.

The only bad thing is, I COULDN'T ever stand up. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't stand up. It was so frustrating! >_<

Oh well, there is always next time...

Lauren's 7th Birthday Party!

Today was Lauren's 7th Birthday. Yup. She's 7 years old now. I feel old. She has grown up to be such a great little girl with such a strong independent personality. It's so weird that she is 7 years old! I can't get over it! HAHA.. Anyway. She had a small birthday party with the family at her house. She wanted me to make her a Minnie Mouse cake, so I did. I turned out great, and she loved it!

I hope she had a great birthday, and got everything she wanted!

Midnight 5K with Kaily!



On Friday night, Kaily and I ran the Legacy Midnight 5K. It was so much fun! The race started at 10:30 PM. It was really fun to run at night instead of the morning like other 5Ks. Everyone was required to wear glow sticks, so the entire crowd was covered with them. It was awesome!

I'm so glad that Kaily ran it with me. I really wanted to run it, but I didn't want to run it alone. The cost to sign up was really expensive, so I didn't think anyone would run it with me, but she did! It was great to hang out with her, and to have fun in this way. :)

Funny story: At midnight, they started to announce the winners for the 5K. Kaily and I knew that we weren't going to be a winner. So we just were going to go home. But we stayed for just a few seconds more, and then they started announcing the winners for the age group of the 15-19 males. To my surprise, they called my name for 2nd place!!! HAHA.. we were so surprised. I was so shocked that when I went up to get my medal and my prize I couldn't speak! HAHA...

Later it turns out that there was only 2 people in my age group. HAHA... But I'm happy that I got a medal.

It was so much fun, and I can't wait to do it again.

Cameron's Birthday at Lagoon!

For Cameron's 4th Birthday, he wanted to go to Lagoon. He watched the Lagoon commercials, and wanted to go, so we went. He LOVED it! I can't believe this little boy is 4 years old. Time sure does go by fast.

He went on a "big boy" roller coaster, and LOVED it. While waiting in line, he asked... "Is that the one we are going on?"... You could tell that he was kinda worried, but once he got on, he couldn't stop smiling. :)

We went on this "Octopus" ride, and got really wet! Cameron would laugh every time that we got sprayed, because it was me that was taking most of the hit. HAHA... silly boy.

He had such a great time, and was up and walking around all day! He didn't even go home to take a nap. I remember being a kid, and going to Lagoon, and having endless energy... buy this time.. I was pooped half way through the day! HAHA...

I hope Cameron had a great birthday. I love him so much. He really is my best bud! I can't believe he has grown so much. He is the best!
