Day 295, Lincoln, Nebraska- to - Nauvoo, Illinois

Today the family drove from Lincoln, Nebraska to Nauvoo, Illinois. It wasn't as bad as yesterday, because it wasn't as long of a drive. It was only about 400 miles, and about  6 hours of driving. So a big difference from yesterday.
We could have driven all the way to Chicago today if we wanted to, but we thought it would be cool if you went to Nauvoo along the way. I've always wanted to go to Nauvoo, and now, I'm finally here!
It's so beautiful, I can't believe it!

This is the Nauvoo temple, it was just down the street from our motel we were staying at. Nauvoo is such a small town, I was surprised. I thought it would be different. But it's a nice little town, I could live there. HAHA.

So Brian sang into this well just like Snow White. He wished for his one true love to find him someday.

We also saw this hilarious sigh at a car garage down the street. If you can't read it, it says...
" DO NOT BLOCK DOOR.. Violators will have their cars ticketed, towed, sold for parts, whats left will be crushed, melted down and turned into rebar."
I thought it was the funniest thing ever!
More Nauvoo tomorrow folks! :)
